Hello! It’s been a hot minute since i last posted.

I hope things have been doing well for you who is reading this. And everything so far has been okay for me.

Now beck to doing my own things for a couple months, I messed up with my previous module in my studies, and as such missed a couple of assignments. My overall Grades dropped slightly, with not much to worry about, but man did it feel like crap when i found out i essentially missed 20 free marks on my grade. Oh well, I need to be more vigilant in my own studies and dates.

I won’t lie and say my mental health took a turn for the worse, it peaked on Monday when i felt so cramped and suffocated i just vegetated on my bed for the entire night, feeling pathetic yet not having the strength to get up and do something, force my self to do anything or even fall asleep to try sleep off the pain. Then i hit the painful vicious cycle of thinking “You can’t even do that much, you’re so pathetic” and feeling even worse. I even tried to google how to cry just so i could get the emotions out, and it didn’t work.

I think this is my breaking point, and i needed to do something about it. This morning i managed to schedule a psych consultation and evaluation, and hopefully i get a referral to see a psychologist. I am thankful mental health resources are heavily subsidised if not free. I would also like to thank my friend who talked to me and supported me through this episode, she’s been nothing but kind to me.

I’m sorry for getting a bit heavy there, but that’s essentially my mental state as of today. It’s not great but i will fix it. I need to be better.

Onto more positive things, the FF1 video is on the way! I just finished scripting the intro to it, and plan to stream it to completion sometime by the end of July! I have no idea how long video production would take, but expect it soon! I am somewhat happy with myself i managed this much, even if it’s pretty insignificant of work. I’ve also decided for this website, i would like to move the comments to a different backend, since the database service i’m currently using always shuts off after a week. Turning it on every week is quite a pain, so i’m trying out AWS to store comments!

My school’s also been going good, and besides the usual unemployment, i’m getting fairly positive responses in terms of job prospects, i hope i get employed soon! Money problems hopefully get solved soon.

So in my rough timeline:

-> End of July: Get the comments working again, Finish FF1 -> End of August: Get my FF1 video out
